Abu Dhabi: A total of 24 children and young adults will soon undergo life-changing surgeries to correct their cleft conditions, the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi announced in a statement sent on Wednesday.
The surgeries are being provided free of cost by charity organisation Operation Smile, and they will be conducted at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Caregivers at the hospital have also volunteered their time to the surgeries.
Similar transformative surgeries for 20 patients were also performed at the hospital under the purview of Operation Smile in July 2017.
