Abdullah bin Zayed attends reception to celebrate national day of Bahrain

ABU DHABI, 13th December 2017 (WAM) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, attended this evening a reception hosted by Mohammed bin Hamad Saqr Al Maawda , Bahraini Ambassador to the UAE, to celebrate his country’s national day and the anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated Ambassador Al Maawda and extended greetings to the brotherly people of Bahrain. He expressed wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.

Ambassador Al Maawda praised the strong fraternal relations between the two countries, the basis of which was laid by the founding fathers.

In attendance were Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, Abdullah Al Masaood, Chairman of the National Consultative Council (NCC), senior officials, heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in the UAE, Bahraini students studying in UAE universities and media representatives.
