ABU DHABI, 10th December, 2017 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, the British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, at the ministry in Abu Dhabi.
They discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and friendship between the UAE and Britain. Sheikh Abdullah and Johnson also reviewed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed his British counterpart and lauded bilateral relations while emphasising the importance of joint cooperation in various fields in the best interest of the two friendly peoples and countries.
The British Foreign Secretary highlighted the strong strategic ties between the two countries and continuous keenness of boosting cooperation between them.
Johnson praised the UAE’s prestigious stature regionally and globally.
