Responsible for achieving the assigned sales objectives as well as providing guidance and support to the services & solutions sales team in achieving assigned tasks such as conducting competitors benchmark analysis, formulating reports and increasing ASC’s client base.

Policies & Procedures

  • Implement the Account Management & Sales Department’s set policies and procedures and comply with the ASC’s other policies.

Account Management Activities

  • Evaluate market conditions, develop account strategies and action plans to expand current accounts and penetrate new markets
  • Recommend updates on the annual sales plan in partnership with the Manager Account Management & Sales based on market evaluation and competitive activity
  • Implement marketing strategies and sales initiatives to increase the market demand on products and to generate revenue for the assigned category products in order to retain current clients as well as attracting new clients
  • Identify and develop potential new sales opportunities for effective market penetration of assigned products to deliver on revenue, growth, and profit and increase ASC’s market share
  • Conduct market research on a continuous basis to obtain information related to:
    1. Clients’ preferences and needs (to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand)
    2. Competitors (to identify competitors’ overall market share, product price schemes, sales figures, and methods of marketing)
  • Schedule business visits plan for the forthcoming period and communicate the visits plan among the account management and sales team as well as the concerned clients
  • Ensure categorizing ASC clients based on their market share to determine the frequency of business visits
  • Contact and arrange meetings with potential clients to promote ASC’s products & services
  • Develop and present relevant presentations to clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Build external networks to understand market trends & competitor activity that will allow ASC to maintain a competitive advantage in the market
  • Participate in Travel & Tourism exhibitions in order to introduce ASC to new clients and increase ASC’s client base
  • Act as the key link for all client needs, liaising/coordinating the various ASC departments to ensure client support and satisfaction
  • Ensure efficient client’s records including proposals, login accounts, technical issues and client complaints
  • Conduct contract negotiations with ASC clients Top Management and review quotations to achieve profitability objectives and build ASC’s market position
  • Maintain strong clients’ relationships in order to maintain current clients as well as attracting new clients in the assigned territory/ market segment that will lead to an increase in ASC’s product and services sales revenue
  • Build, develop and maintain relationships with Account decision-makers to develop opportunities, maintain, and expand business within the accounts, visiting clients and performing product demos as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation of clients’ information into the system and ensure documents’ safety
  • Maintain a high level of current knowledge of the product portfolio and the benefits of specific products for Accounts as well as of other account-specific information (trends, strategy, competitors, pricing, etc.)
  • Maintain and monitor sales reports including shipping, receiving and order fulfillment functions to ensure timely client services
  • Coordinate with the Information Technology Division to fulfill client’s requirements including setting new login accounts and/or login passwords, product maintenance…etc
  • Respond to clients’ complaints and ensure prompt resolution of complaints within the stipulated timelines with high efficiency and effectiveness, in order to maintain client satisfaction
  • Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager

Reports

  • Prepare reports that cover all Account Management & sales activities and other related fields for the Direct Manager as required
