ADP, Belarusian Forensics Committee explore cooperation

MINSK, 14th April, 2018 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, specialists will receive training at the Belarusian State Forensic Examination Committee, its Chairman Andrei Shved said during a conference on Friday.

The Belarusian Telegraph Agency, BelTA, quoted Shved as saying that the UAE has an interest in sending Abu Dhabi Police specialists to receive training in Belarus. “In May, a group of our experts will travel to Abu Dhabi to discuss the practical aspects of the full-fledged training of our Arab colleagues in Belarus,” he added.


The Chairman went on to say that Abu Dhabi Police visited the State Forensic Examination Committee on three occasions and praised its work. “Abu Dhabi Police representatives showed a keen interest in such fields of forensic science as odorology, traceology, fire investigation, forensic investigation of documents and handwriting, analysis of cold weapons,” Shved continued.

“UAE law enforcement professionals intend to set up units following the example of the State Forensic Examination Committee. We are ready to provide all-round support in this regard,” he underscored.
