ABU DHABI, 10th July, 2018 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi Police has launched a programme titled, ‘Year of Zayed Heroes’, which saw the participation of more than 170 students from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The programme’s activities were held at the headquarters of the Police Academy in Abu Dhabi, the Police Schools Administration in Al Fu’ah and the Police Officers Club.

Brigadier Muhanna Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Police Schools Administration at the Human Resources Sector of the ADP, said that the programme aims to keep students busy during their summer vacation, by organising a range of cultural and sporting activities that promote national values and ethics among the participants. It will also hold cultural lectures and training sessions on police skills and various sporting activities, such as swimming and horse riding, as well as visits to tourist sites in the emirate, he added.

Al Nuaimi highlighted the ADP’s keenness to promote teamwork and community partnerships, through interactive lectures and discussions that emphasise knowledge, values, ethics, and love and loyalty to the country.
