Ajman Executive Council predicts future priorities to enhance emirate’s growth, community happiness

AJMAN, 8th April, 2018 (WAM) — As part of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council organised a series of meetings with the local departments of the Ajman Government to support joint government work and strengthen the Executive Council’s role in monitoring the progress in achieving the goals of Ajman Vision 2021.

The meetings aim to develop the Executive Council’s future agenda and establish the principles of innovation and renewal in the work of the Ajman Government by determining future local priorities and supporting the decision-making process.

Sheikh Ammar stressed that the wise leadership is inspiring and taking the initiative by promoting innovation and overall excellence, while highlighting the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, to encourage communication between the community and the leadership, to improve the lives of the people and achieve their happiness, as well as to enable local government departments to realise their goals and those of the Ajman Vision 2021 and the UAE Vision 2021.

Sheikh Ammar added that developing innovation and renewal in the work of the emirate’s government requires creative ideas, to create change and achieve sustainability.

He further added that the emirate’s requires the combined efforts of all local government departments in a state of integration and co-ordination, to reach their goals in the fastest possible time and at the least cost, which is how government performance can be improved at all levels.

The General Secretariat created an integrated programme to decide on the topics of its annual general meetings, with the assistance of local government departments during discussions to anticipate future development plans.

The programme also aims to address the contributions of various sources to enhance the decision-making process and strengthen the outcomes of its general strategies and policies, through involving the business sector and the community.
