AJMAN, 13th March, 2019 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, today received, in the Al Safia Palace, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and his delegation, with the attendance of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
During the meeting, Sheikh Humaid welcomed the visit of King Hamad, who was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Both sides had a friendly exchange of words while expressing the solidity between the UAE and Bahrain and their peoples, as well as their mutual efforts to strengthen their relations, which will serve their common interests and answer their future aspirations.
The poet, Saeed Khalfan Al Kaabi, recited a poem welcoming King Hamad and his delegation.
Sheikh Humaid held a lunch banquet in honour of King Hamad. At the end of the visit, Sheikh Humaid presented to the King a golden sword as a commemorative gift.
The meeting and lunch banquet was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Representative of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, ATDD; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department; Dr. Sheikh Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman’s Ruler Court; Sheikh Saqr bin Rashid Al Nuaimi; Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police; Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Port and Customs Department; Sheikh Sultan bin Ali Al Nuaimi; Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Justice Departments in Ajman, and several Sheikhs, dignitaries, managers and directors of government departments, as well as senior officials.
