Aviation, transport and properties companies honoured for supporting Emiratisation policy

DUBAI, 1st April, 2018 (WAM) — Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation,MOHRE, honoured a number of companies in recognition of their strong support for and interaction with the qualitative Emiratisation challenge in the sectors of transport and aviation, and real estate development.

Companies honoured in the aviation and transport sector were Emirates Airline, Dubai Airports, Data Direct Group, Serco, Thrifty Car Rental, Kanoo Group, National Taxi and Arabia Taxi, while those in the real estate development sector included Emaar Properties, Arabtec, Wasl properties, Ghantoot Group and Fujairah Building Industries.

The MOHRE sets these two sectors along with telecommunications and technology and services centres sectors among the strategic economic sectors for reaching the qualitative Emiratisation targets.

Al Hamli said during the honouring ceremony that strategic partnership and cooperation with these companies had realised dreams of many Emirati citizens to find jobs.

”We are looking forward to maximise joint efforts and increase joint coordination so as to reach targets of the qualitative Emiratisation challenge as per the time frame set for the third group of Emiratisation accelerators,” he added.

According to plans, each of the four sectors is expected to secure 1000 job opportunities with a combined tally of 4000.
