BJP MP car hits two women, one killed

Police arrest the driver while GVL Narasimha Rao leaves for Vijayawada in another car

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Member of Parliament GVL Narasimha Rao found himself in a serious trouble when the car he was travelling was involved in a road accident killing a woman and injuring another.

According to Mangalagiri police the accident occurred when the MP was going from Amaravati to Vijayawada on Friday afternoon. While police arrested the driver, Rao left for Vijayawada in another car.

In an attempt to avoid hitting pedestrians the driver swerved the car and after colliding with the divider it hit the two women. While one of them died instantly the other was injured.
