Sharjah: Authorities here have foiled an attempt to smuggle 22 infiltrators into the UAE by hiding them inside a concrete mixing transport truck.
Using a high-tech X-ray device, the Federal Customs Authority and the Department of Maritime Ports and Customs in Sharjah flagged down the truck and arrested the infiltrators who were hidden inside a concrete mixer while passing through a Customs checkpoint in the cargo lane at Khatm Melaha Customs Centre.
