Our client are an international Architecture company whose services include lead consultant, construction supervision, executive architect and project management. They are looking for a Country Director to join their team in their Riyadh office.
Reporting directly into the Cities Managing Director you will be responsible for:
- To provide leadership and ownership of all activities, of the practice and in the territory
- To own, maintain and develop all aspects of the operating entity in the territory that maximises client position within the market
- Ensure that operational plans for personal project portfolio are aligned with the overall regional/business unit strategy and they are profitable and delivered within cost, quality and deadline
- Contribute to and deliver a robust performance management culture throughout all levels of the business unit aligned to objectives and reflective of the future development needs of the organisation
- To provide leadership for the local Operations team (HR, Finance, IT, Facilities etc)
- To deliver high quality projects with profitable P&L and sustainable cash position
- To develop and maintain the highest possible relationships with clients and stakeholders within the territory
- To provide consulting discipline leadership to the local team, and as part of global consulting team
- Manage the financial performance of all non-Business Unit projects through the effective establishment of operational plans and project boards. Ensure that value and effective support are provided in return for agreed costs and margin share
- Develop collaboration frameworks for all significant inter-company bids, projects and relationships and ensure that these are followed rigorously at all levels
Core Competencies
- Able to demonstrate the ability to work in challenging situations with demanding clients
- The ability to take a rigorous, evidence based approach to work integrating a range of disciplines.
- Have experience of working on strategic planning projects (either organisation or urban) and have a strong analytical capability
- Have experience setting and managing budgets as well as managing the finances of a large programme, team or office
Key Requirements
- Masters Degree
- Minimum 12 years’ experience showing responsibility in project management role
- Minimum 4 years’ experience of managing and leading high performing teams
