DEWA strengthens ties with Meydan

DUBAI, 6th March, 2018 (WAM) — Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), welcomed Saeed bin Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman and CEO of Meydan Group, to DEWA Head Office. The meeting was attended by Jia Zhiqiang, President of China Electric Power and Technology Co, who headed his company’s delegation.

During the meeting, Al Tayer discussed cooperation between DEWA and Meydan Group. He highlighted that DEWA holds periodic meetings with developers and partners to enhance joint work, and support projects. This supports the UAE Vision 2021 to secure a happy future and a better life for future generations.

Al Tayer underlined DEWA’s commitment to provide Meydan’s projects, and other ambitious projects in Dubai, with electricity and water services, according to their schedules.

DEWA oversees the completion of these projects closely to ensure coordination in all stages of implementation, he said.

The meeting also discussed issues of interest to developers and contractors in Dubai.
