Dubai Islamic Bank donates Dh10m to ERC

Dubai Islamic provides zakat money to help meet the requirements of needy segments

Dubai: Dubai Islamic Bank has donated Dh10 million Zakat money to Emirates Red Crescent (ERC).

Abdul Razzaq Al Abdullah, head of Community Services Department at Dubai Islamic Bank, presented the cheque to Mohammad Abdullah Al Zarouni, Director of the ERC branch in Dubai.

Al Abdullah stressed the bank’s keenness to distribute most of its Zakat money to community, humanitarian and charity institutions, which would help them to meet the urgent needs of Zakat beneficiaries, poor and needy families and orphans.
