Dubai’s Supreme Legislation Committee unveils ‘Zayed Trophy’ award

DUBAI, 9th June, 2018 (WAM) — the General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee, SLC, Dubai, unveiled today ‘Zayed Trophy’ award in recognition of the legacy and values of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The initiative is line with SLC efforts to encourage its employees to be inspired by the achievements of the late Sheikh Zayed, the UAE founding father and an exceptional leader of international caliber.

The award criteria is based on the values of respect, wisdom, honesty, humanity, positivity, generosity and modesty. Nominees will also be judged according to their ability to do their jobs s as per the international standards of excellence, quality and professionalism. The award also echoes SLC’s vision of developing up-to-date legislations.

“It is also in line with the objectives of ‘Year of Zayed’ initiative that has been launched by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan”, Ahmed Saeed Al Muhairi, SLC Secretary General, said.

As per the award conditions, maximum three of SLC’s General Secretariat are allowed to present their entries for the award starting from June 3rd and the closing date is September 30th and the results will be announced in the period from October 3rd to 14th.
