ABU DHABI, 7th December, 2022 (WAM) — Marianne Nissilä, Finnish Ambassador to the UAE, yesterday held a reception on the occasion of her country’s 104th National Day.
The reception, held in Hotel Fairmont Bab Al Bahr – Abu Dhabi, was attended by Amna Mahmoud Fikri, Non-Resident Ambassador of the UAE to Finland, alongside a number of officials and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions
In a speech on the occasion, the Finnish Ambassador highlighted the strong UAE-Finland ties, affirming her country’s keenness to strengthen joint cooperation with the UAE across various fields.
She added that the two countries enjoy a strong partnership reinforced by close economic, trade and investment relations, stating that the UAE is Finland’s largest trading partner in the Middle East.
