Emirati teachers get training and knowledge about special needs education

NEW YORK, 28th July, 2018 (WAM) — A group of Emirati teachers on Friday concluded a technical training programme on special needs education in the United States.

A total of 38 teachers and instructors engaged in a two-week training programme at New York University about the strategies, best practices and applications regarding the education of students with special needs.

The participants also paid field visits to a number of specialised centres for the learning and care of students with special needs and attended technical workshops on how to deal with people of determination. They also attended a conference on the issue in Philadelphia.
