ERC provides meals to malnourished children in Al Azariq, Yemen

DHALE, Yemen, 18th October, 2018 (WAM) — The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has sent a relief convoy consisting of 1,500 food baskets and five tonnes of food supplements (replacement meals) for children of the Al Azariq District in Dhale Governorate, Yemen.

Nabil al-Afif, first deputy of Dhale District, said that the aid was distributed to 1,500 families, and food baskets were also provided to 36 children suffering from malnutrition.

The Yemeni official expressed his sincere appreciation to the UAE which he said has helped many Yemeni people overcome hardship by improving their living conditions.
