DHALE, Yemen, 11th October, 2018 (WAM) — The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, is continuing to support the educational process in Yemen, by launching two schools in Dhale Governorate after restoring them, and distributed school bags to major secondary school in Taiz.

Both schools in Dhale serve some 2,000 students and were previously damaged by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, while nearly 9,000 students from the major secondary school, one of the largest schools in Yemen, benefitted from the school bags.

Local officials in Dhale and Taiz thanked the UAE and its humanitarian arm, the ERC, for maintaining the infrastructure of local schools and providing the students with their educational needs.
