Government Relations Manager – HR & Admin – KSA CP – M.H. Alshaya Co. – Saudi Arabia

The Role:

As Government Relations Manager for your market, you will manage communication with all Government Offices, Ministries, Chamber of Commerce, Police Department, etc. as per the requirement of Business. Obtain, maintain and renew arrangements with Immigration and Passport authorities, and Foreign Embassies, to ensure the smooth movement of Employees and visitors.

Specific responsibilities include:


\[ Developing and implementing time and cost effective processes to manage Passport and Visa activities, ensuring documents are tracked and reports are available for progress monitoring

\[ Using formal and informal channels to develop internal and external relationships with relevant parties

\[ Liaising with authorities or individuals via available channels to resolve any problems or matters concerning the Company, its operations, or Employees (including traffic accidents and police matters)

\[ Acting as an ambassador for the Department and Company to ensure Business Visas to other countries are obtained from Foreign Embassies / Consulates (as required by the Business)

\[ Establishing and maintaining planning documentation to ensure that key milestones are achieved

\[ Acting as the first point of contact for senior management on all matters regarding Government Relations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

You will have:

\[ A minimum 5 years’ experience in the appropriate market as a government and civil authority liaison for commercial / business operations purposes

\[ A secondary / high school education

\[ A proactive and objective approach to problem solving

\[ Public relations skills and the ability to build effective relationships with authorities.
