Hazza bin Zayed, Mansour bin Zayed visit ‘Morocco in Abu Dhabi’ event

ABU DHABI, 15th March, 2018 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, today visited the third “Morocco in Abu Dhabi” event, which will run until 19th March, 2018.

The event is being hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, under the supervision of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Sheikh Hazza stated that the event reflects the deep and historic bilateral ties between the UAE and Morocco and their people, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa and King Mohammed VI.

He also praised the efforts of King Mohammed VI to preserve Morocco’s heritage, traditional values, history and rich civilisation while adding that the event aims to preserve the ancient traditions of their ancestors and strengthen the ties between the two countries.

Sheikh Mansour thanked Sheikh Hazza and Prince Moulay Rachid, Brother of the King of Morocco, for their presence at the launch of the event, which highlights and strengthens the close ties between the UAE and Morocco, as a model to follow.

Sheikh Hazza and Sheikh Mansour toured the various areas of the event, which includes many cultural, artistic and historical activities, as well as antiques. The tour ended at the Moroccan Heritage Museum.
