Job Objective:
Manage revenue growth from the target segment by building strategic relationships with the Clients in the segment and by positioning Batelco as a preferred partner of choice for all Telecom and ICT solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with GM- Enterprise to prepare strategic initiatives for the Function aligned to the Organization Strategy
- Understand the overall Business strategy, segment growth & trends and prepare sales strategy for the Segment
- Understand client’s business priorities, anticipate future needs and provide leads to the team to pursue new business opportunities
- Keep abreast of competitive landscape within the Segment and identify initiatives to enhance the value of the products & services offered
- Monitor and report performance against strategic initiatives
- Work closely with GM- Enterprise and Team Leads to prepare the budget for Sales
- Monitor adherence to allocated budget; take corrective course of action in case of deviations
- Analyse overall segment performance, individual account performance and prepare annual sales plan
- Establish and allocate the quarterly sales target based on the financial targets set for the Segment
- Review revenue forecasts for the segment and the gap analysis; plan a course of action to achieve the sales targets
- Review technical solutions and proposals, make recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the solutions
- Conduct negotiations with Clients for critical and complex proposals
- Oversee the implementation of all the projects in the segment and ensure adherence to service level agreements
- Evaluate client feedback on loyalty programs. Design or enhance the programs to engage more effectively with Clients
- Review the segment’s sales funnel progress on pursuits and deal closures
- Undertake execution of any project/ initiative for the department and organization as identified from time-to-time based on business needs
- Identify training needs and nominate team members for training programs
- Ensure timely completion of PMR process for self and the team
- Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
- Ensure active participation in employee engagement surveys
Qualification:
- Bachelors’ degree in Engineering/ Technical/ Equivalent
- 8-16 years of experience in Telecom or high tech product environment
- Understanding of the specific customer segment (Financial, Government, LME, SME, VIP or Residential)
- Experience in Sales & Marketing Role
