HR Deputy Manager (Spanish Oil & Gas Company) Duqm Area – Oman Nationals – Mena Business Investment Group – Oman

‘The HR Deputy Manager is responsible for only Omani onboarding, induction, performance monitoring and confirmation process of the Human Resource Function and handling whole gamut of Human Resources at a middle level. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.


• Help and develop and implement policies and processes associated with the need for company to operate overseas.
• Managing performance Appraisal cycle & handling Compensation & benefit issues.
• Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties, including employment processing, compensation, payroll, health and welfare benefits, Leaves and employee relations management.
• To ensure that HR processes comply with legislative changes.
• To line manage and develop a team of HR Administrators to achieve high levels of performance and customer services both individually and as a team.
• To carry out ad-hoc tasks and / or project work as directed to support senior HR staff and to deliver the company Workforce Strategy.
• To coach and develop the HR staff to grow their HR skills, provide career opportunities and identify succession opportunities.
• Preparing the employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs in coordinating with training team head.
• Planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; schedules management conferences with employees; hears and resolve employee grievances; counsels’ employees and supervisors in consultation with HR Manager – HR & Admin.
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource government requirements
• Maintaining human resources staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Contributing towards team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintaining continuity among Head office, department, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Exert disciplinary measures in coordination with supervisor.
• All other HR & Admin related matters from time to time.
