Humaid Al Nuaimi attends graduation of ‘Year of Tolerance Batch’ of CUCA

AJMAN, 1st May, 2019 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, today said that empowering the people is a priority of the UAE’s leadership, because they are key to creating a civilised community and building the nation’s future.

He made this statement while witnessing the graduation of 392 students, including 95 masters students, from the 4th batch, the “Year of Tolerance Batch,” of the City University College of Ajman, CUCA, who completed courses in business management, public relations, advertising, and law, as well as a professional diploma in teaching. CUCA is part of READ – R Education and Academic Development.

The ceremony was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CUCA, and Dr. Ahmad bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills.

“Educating our young men and women is a true credit to the nation, and we wish them success in their professional lives. Successive batches of graduates from Emirati universities, including from Ajman, have followed the path of the nation’s leadership, which cares for the people, as they are the best capital and are performing their role in serving the nation and their community,” Sheikh Humaid said.

At the end of the ceremony, Sheikh Humaid, accompanied by Sheikh Ammar honoured, the graduates who completed their masters and bachelor degrees. Sheikh Ammar then distributed graduation certificates to the students.

Imran Khan, President of the CUCA and CEO of READ, congratulated the graduates.
