Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will develop and implement the strategic and operational plan for the CNA-Q IT Department, and provide leadership and supervision of the IT Operations team.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of IT Operations Section Head. The successful candidate is responsible to provide support to the Information Technology department (IT operations) and development of the IT Department business plan. Responsibilities include creating, aligning and monitoring the IT Operations budget, deliverables and timelines with the College’s strategic and operational plans and ensuring compliance protocol requirements.
Candidates will be responsible to develop new training and professional development opportunities that will facilitate growth and efficiency in the IT department and build positive relationships; and oversee the IT infrastructure, including telecommunications, audio-visual, IT hardware, IT software and network operations, and ensure proper and effective functioning in alignment with operational objectives.
Candidates will provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates to contribute to the development of employees and must have excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, delegation and communications skills as well as the ability to act as a mentor to team members.
