Follow and ensure compliance to established inventory policies, procedures, regulations, and safety principles as per
the Team Leader Directives.
Monitor areas of visible shrink and assists in correcting deficiencies with the supervision of the Team Leader.
Assist in training store associates on proper safety procedures and equipment, loss prevention and shrink control
Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled product counts of items on hand if required by the Team Leader.
Identify, research and resolve inventory variances between physical and system quantities.
Reconcile system reports and reports from physical inventories performed at the store/warehouse level.
Ensure inventory accuracy of all merchandise, including vendor returns.
Manage and drive key loss prevention and inventory projects and initiatives.
Resolve compliance issues with 3rd party service providers and solicit Team Leader’s assistance as required
Identify and build key dashboards and metrics to monitor the performance of the inventory operations.
Work closely with other Supply Chain functional areas on stock transfers, price tagging and receiving.
Act as point of contact for stores regarding shrink issues/ loss prevention.
Make recommendations for decision making to the manager through the team leader on dormant inventories.
Assist in the disposal of inventory as directed by the Team leader.
Perform any other duty, within a reasonable professional boundary, as assigned by the Team Leader from time to time.
