Job Summary:

The MICE manager is responsible for proactively soliciting and handling all revenue-related opportunities from the local and international source markets for Ain Dubai’s set budgets and associated companies (i.e MT, Meraas RT).
Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunities. Achieves individual and team revenue goals for the Sales team.
Ensures business is turned over properly in a timely manner for flawless service delivery.
Functions as the business leader Ain Dubai’s Groups and Events team and manages the reactive and proactive catering and group sales efforts.
Shares responsibility for achieving revenue goals, guest and associate satisfaction, and the financial performance of the department. Implements the brand’s service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process.
Provides day to day reports to Head of Department based on the business pipeline, expected revenue, and other sales-related items.
Verifies a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering a high level of service.
Maintains accountability for verifying that the team maximizes revenue opportunities by upselling and accurately forecasting (e.g., catering, Outside Catering, and group bookings) for all events. Ensures compliance with Company Operating Standards to maintain brand integrity.

Involved actively of the overall strategy of private event sales for groups, conference, and catering, Audio-visual, branding, private cabin, and space rental sales.
Solicits/books local MICE business from the local DMC, International PCO’s, Associations, and events management companies.
Develops new products, reviews performance per package, and reports on ways to improve. 
accountable for both Local and international MICE revenues’ goals and to work hand in hand to deliver the financial performance of the attraction.
Develops and manages Private Event sales revenue and operation budgets, and provides accurate forecasting reports.
Works with the management team to create and implement a Private event sales for group sales plan addressing revenue, customers, and market.
