DUBAI, 24th February, 2018 (WAM) — A two-day ministerial retreat is reviewing methods to enhance the quality of education, in line with the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the wise leadership’s approach and the government’s plans for the future.
The retreat, which began on Friday, is being hosted by the Ministry of Education at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai. It aims to discuss the ministry’s achievements for the last three years and to adopt ideas and initiatives to overcome the challenges facing the educational process in both the short and long terms.
The retreat’s opening day was attended by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education; Jameela Al Muheiri, Minister of State for Public Education; Dr. Ahmad bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills; Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Education and Knowledge Department, under-secretaries and assistant under-secretaries of the Ministry of Education; educationists and parents.
“The retreat is held in a very crucial time as we are facing the challenge of preparing for the future and adopting best practices to boost the quality of education,” Al Hammadi said.
