MoFAIC honours strategic partners during National Day celebrations

ABU DHABI, 6th December, 2017 (WAM) — The office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC, in Dubai held a reception that was attended by representatives of many Arab and foreign diplomatic missions in the UAE, as well as the ministry’s strategic partners, including other ministries, authorities and local departments, as part of the 46th National Day celebrations.

In a speech, Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee, Director of the MoFAIC Dubai Office, welcomed the audience and their participation in the celebrations.

The event saw the honouring of the MoFAIC’s strategic partners, as part of the ministry’s efforts to help enhance mutual partnerships and create communication channels, with the aim of promoting greater cooperation, serving the ministry’s goals, and strengthening Emirati diplomacy.

The institutions and authorities that were honoured included the Public Prosecution Dubai, the Dubai Police General Command, Dubai Courts, Dubai Customs, the Department of Land and Property in Dubai, the General Civil Aviation Authority in Dubai, the Dubai Ruler’s Court, the Dubai Chamber, the Ministry of Education in Dubai, the Economic Development Department in Dubai, the Dubai Media Corporation, the Dubai Executive Council, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, the General Administration of Civil Defence, the State Security Service in Dubai, the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, the Roads and Transport Authority, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and the International City for Humanitarian Services.

A short documentary was presented during the ceremony on the country’s overall achievements.
