Nahyan bin Mubarak attends graduation ceremony of Abu Dhabi Administration College MBA, Msc students

ABU DHABI, 7th February, 2018 (WAM) — Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Tolerance, yesterday attended the graduation ceremony of 150 graduates from the second batch of Master of Business Administration, MBA, students of the Abu Dhabi School of Management, and the first batch of students of the Master of Science, Msc, in Quality and Business Excellence and the Msc in Leadership and Organisational Development.

The ceremony, which was held in the Celebrations Hall at the headquarters of the National Archives, NA, in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, First Deputy to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Mubarak Hamad bin Marzouk Al Ameri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College, and Prof. Abdullah Abu Neama, President of the College, as well as several senior academic staff, teachers and the parents of the graduates.

The ceremony started with the UAE national anthem and was followed by a short film about the College and its achievements and milestones since its establishment.

In his speech, Sheikh Nahyan highlighted his pride at the journey of the college and its prominent position in the country’s education system, as well as its achievements and potential, and what the ceremony represents to the graduates, who will start a new phase in their lives.

Sheikh Nahyan expressed his appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for their efforts to achieve educational success and advancement.

He called on the graduates to follow the virtues of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which will lead them to prosperity, peace, justice and tolerance and give them wisdom, that will make them capable of addressing all opinions and be keen to continuously learn. He also called on them to enjoy their evening and thank their families and teachers for their efforts during their studies.

In a speech delivered on their behalf by Juma Al Suraidi, the students expressed their appreciation to Highness Sheikh Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for supporting the UAE’s education system.

They also thanked Sheikh Nahyan for his patronage of their graduation ceremony and his efforts to advance higher education, as well as the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Abu Dhabi Administration College for providing them with a unique education environment, in line with international standards, and the strategic partners who supported their journey.
