ABU DHABI, 5th May, 2019 (WAM) — Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, attended the graduation of 956 students from the 2018 class of the Higher Colleges of Technology, HCT, faculties in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Chairman of the HCT, Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, Director of the HCT, Aisha Bushleibi, Director of the HCT in Abu Dhabi, Hamssa Al Amari, Director of the HCT in Al Ain, Taleb Obaid, Acting Director of the HCT in Al Dhafra, along with teaching and administrative staff and the parents of the graduates.
In his speech, Dr. Al Shamsi said that Sheikh Nahyan has helped achieve the goal of the country’s leadership to establish a leading academic institution, the HCT, which has 16 faculties across the country.
He added that Sheikh Nahyan’s efforts to cement cooperation with global academic institutions and organise events that gather local and international scholars, intellectuals and students, reflect the leadership’s vision of tolerance and cultural openness in education.
