Nahyan bin Zayed congratulates Al Ain on winning the President’s Cup

ABU DHABI, 4th May, 2018 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, ADSC, has congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Chairman of Al Ain FC, and H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, First Deputy Chairman of Al Ain FC, H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, Second Deputy of Al Ain FC, on winning the coveted UAE President’s Cup 2018.

He also congratulated the club management, Al Ain Football Company, players as well as fans for this great and special achievement and for the fourth time in the club history.

Sheikh Nahyan also lauded the outstanding performance of Al Wasl players as well as the great turnout in the final match that has been renamed ‘Year of Zayed Match’.

Al Ain FC won the final match, which took place at Sheikh Zayed Sports City Stadium, 2-1.

Al Ain FC was earlier crowned as champion of the Arabian Gulf League, AGL, 2018.
