NCM warns of high waves in Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea

ABU DHABI, 3rd January, 2018 (WAM) — The National Centre of Meteorology, NCM, has called on seafarers to take precautions and not to ride the sea in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of ??Oman from today until Thursday evening, due to their turbulence as a result of the strong north-west wind.

In a statement today, NCM said, “In the Arabian Gulf, the sea will be very disturbed, the wave height will be 7 to 9 up to 11 feet, while in the Sea of ??Oman the sea will be turbulent and the wave height will be between 5 to 7 feet.”
