Nobel Museum reopens on February 4

Month-long museum will focus on chemistry and achievements of Nobel laureates in the field

Dubai: For the fourth consecutive year, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRKF), in cooperation with the Nobel Foundation, will organise the Nobel Museum 2018 on the theme ‘Nobel Prize in Chemistry — Linking Elements’ from February 4 at City Walk 1.

This year’s edition focuses on one of the most important areas of Nobel Prize categories, chemistry, and deals with the achievements of the Nobel Prize winners. It also highlights the most important Arab chemists, their achievements and impact on the development of chemistry.

The contributions of Arabs and Muslims to the field of chemistry has been significant in history.

The month-long event will highlight the leading position of Dubai and the vision of its wise leadership in embracing the world’s leading events, which will contribute to the consolidation of innovation and creativity among the various segments of society.

A number of workshops will be held on the sidelines of the museum and will highlight the most important topics in chemistry and aspects of the award. The workshops, which will be held every month, will be presented by a panel of experts and Nobel laureates.
