-The role of the Personal Trainer will be to design and implement exercise programmes for a range of individual Clients. This will be done by collecting and analyzing Client information, ensuring an effective personal exercise programme.
-The Personal Trainer will give advice to members with regards to maintaining correct techniques during exercises and correct use of equipment. The PT will actively encourage potential Clients / Members to join and adhere to regular exercise programmes by motivational strategies to achieve targets and KPI’s.
-Actively promote and initiate membership with new and existing members.
-Promote Personal Training sessions outlining the benefits of a personal tailored exercise programme.
-Advise Clients regarding nutrition, weight control, exercise programmes and lifestyle changes to achieve their goals.
-Demonstrate techniques and support members when carrying out exercises and routines
-Assist members of the safe use of training equipment, to design personal training programs and deliver to the highest standard.
-Monitor clients’ progress and adapt programs as needed
-Maintain regulations including the equipment is cleaned and returned to its allocated storage area after use.
-To undertake any other duties at the request of the gym manager which are commensurate with the role, including project work, internal job rotation, reports and absence cover.
-Attend all required educational workshops
-Observe client exercises and correct techniques to minimize injury and improve fitness
-Give alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and skill
-Give emergency first aid when needed.
-Promote club offers and competitions
