Lahore: Pakistan Railways is all set to introduce two new trains — Margala Express (Lahore-Rawalpindi-Lahore) and Mianwali Railcar (Rawalpindi-Mianwali-Rawalpindi) — from September 15.
According to the railway sources on Saturday, the Margala Express train would leave Margala (Islamabad) railway station at 7:20pm and reach Rawalpindi at 7:45pm, and then on its onward journey, it will leave Rawalpindi at 8pm and reach Lahore at 12:15 am in the night after a short stoppage at Chaklala railway station.
From Lahore, the train will leave for Margala (Islamabad) at 8 pm and reach Rawalpindi at 12:15 am in the night after a short stoppage at Chaklala railway station.
This train will leave Rawalpindi at 12:30am for Maragala, where it will reach at 12:55am.
The second new train, Mianwali Railcar, will leave Rawalpindi for Kundian via Golra Sharif, Tarnol Halt, Fatehjang, Bosal, Jund, Mianwali at 7am and reach Kundian at 12:10pm; while on the journey back, it will leave Kundian at 2pm and reach Rawalpindi at 7:10pm.
