Sales Engineer – Mortar Hire – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The position will be responsible for:

(i) Driving Sales, Business Development and Rental Operations for UHP Business in UAE Market

(ii) Sales & Business Development for Construction & Earthmoving Equipment Hire, Concrete Pump & Mortar Machine Hire and Allied Construction Equipment Hire in the assigned territory

(iii) Workshop Sales Activity – Identifies business opportunities for Workshop Service activities by identifying prospective customers and developing the contact and relationship with existing customers

• Business Planning and Forecasting for UHP Business & team exercises for other Rental Vehicles.

• Daily, weekly, Monthly and specific One Time MIS reports for review & strategic decision making

• Business Development and Sales through effective Funnel / Opportunity Management

• Effective Customer coverage — Lead identification — Lead development — Closing including Win / Loss Reporting

• Must be able to identify influencers, and users and actual decision makers

• Application Studies, Working out Project solutions and estimations for validation and customer quotes

• Must be customer focussed to work with sense of urgency in providing the right solutions to customers

• Effective Customer Relationship Management for repeat business including Receivables & After Market activities.

• To meet or exceed GGE approved Pricing Levels except for deviations approved by Senior Management

• To initiate steps and work as a team for continuous innovation & improvement towards creating differential with competition

• To work closely with Accounts team to keep payment terms aligned & DSO under control thru timely collections

• To optimise procurement cost and improve After Market support through vendor engagement

• Champion Quality — Health — Safety — Environment practices and Policy compliance

• Manpower Planning and Forecast based on business and operational needs

• Asset Management — Field Service & Workshop repairs for UHP Fleet using workshop & Operations team

• Resources Management — Optimising Manpower Utilisation and Effectiveness at Sajaa and at jobsites

• Facility Management — Upkeep of office, Workshop, Yard, Camp and statutory QHSE compliances

• Commercial & Logistics — Fleet insurances, Deliveries & Pick ups

• Inventory Management — Optimising parts stocking, minimising aged inventory and Parts cost

• Close monitoring of variable expenses to optimise operating costs

• UHP Facility Administration — Administration, Attendance & Policy compliance

• To present, promote and Workshop Service business by using technical discussions to existing and prospective customers

• Attend the tenders of Government Department for Servicing of Heavy Equipment and Fabrication jobs

• Analyse the territory / markets potential for equipment service business, track & get the job.
