Banks operating near holy sites
The offices of banks located near Saudi Arabia’s holy sites will continue to operate during the Hajj season, according to SAMA.
Banks in the cities of Makkah and Madinah will remain open during the holidays, including Friday and Saturday, especially in frequently populated areas.
SAMA also stressed that insurance companies and private companies providing health insurance services should ensure that the claims department continue to operate during the Eid holiday, to meet the needs of the Hajj pilgrims.
