SCC approves recommendations for EPAA

SHARJAH, 12th January, 2019 (WAM) — The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) has approved recommendations supporting Sharjah’s Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), aimed at enhancing its roles in the preservation of the biodiversity in the emirate and overseeing nature reserves.

This came during SCC eighth session of the fourth ordinary meeting of the ninth Legislative Chapter, chaired by Khawla Al Mulla, Chairperson of the SCC, at the Council’s headquarters, on Thursday.

During the meeting, Al Mulla highlighted the Council’s keenness to empower the EPAA to best carry out its roles and improve its services.
