SHARJAH, 5th February, 2019 (WAM) — The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) on Tuesday reviewed a number of issues concerning the emirate’s various affairs as part of its efforts to achieve the vision of the emirate in providing the best services to citizens and residents in the various cities and regions of the emirate.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the SEC, chaired the meeting of the Council, at the Ruler’s Office in Sharjah, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the SEC.
The council discussed the memo submitted by the Sharjah Airport Authority concerning its administrative and financial affairs.
The council also reviewed a draft law on the reorganization of the University of Sharjah and a draft law on the establishment and organisation of the Sharjah Academy for Space and Astronomy.
As part of its agenda, the council was briefed on the decrees and laws issued by the ruler of Sharjah.
