Dubai: Shoppers at participating malls in the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will get a chance to win up to Dh1 million in cash prizes and vouchers beginning December 26.
The Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), with the support of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), will kick off DSF with their ‘Shop and Win’ promotion where every Dh200 spent at participating malls will give them a chance to win cash prizes in the weekly draw and Dubai Experience vouchers during the upcoming festive season celebrations.
Running during DSF from December 26 until January 27, the four weekly draws will be held at the Global Village Main Stage on January 6, 13, 20 and 27. The draws will be telecast live on Sama Dubai.
The ‘Shop and Win’ will culminate with prizes to be won by lucky shoppers. One shopper will win Dh100,000, another one will get Dh50,000 and while three will get Dh10,000 every week.
This edition, DSMG has included “experiential prizes” in the form of Dubai Experience vouchers that consist of a one-night, two-day stay with breakfast at a four-star hotel; Dubai Entertainment vouchers for a couple and two children below 10 years; dinner vouchers; Water Canal dhow cruise and desert safari.
Majid Al Gurair, chairman of Dubai Shopping Malls Group, said the promotion this year was carefully conceived to offer the right mix of winning opportunities and to elevate the visitors’ shopping experience.
“With a legacy of 23 years, we have witnessed DSF grow rapidly since its inception and is now a global attraction. This is evident with the increase in number of visitors and sales at our participating malls,” Al Gurair said.
