Luxury beachside villas at Hidd Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi are now 40 per cent complete, according to Saadiyat Development and Investment Company (SDIC).
The development company today unveiled its model villas at the project for clients and potential investors to come and view.
The project is built on nearly 1.5 million square metres of natural waterfront land on the north-east part of Saadiyat Island, and will be home to 4,000 people with 453 villas and 15 low-rise apartment buildings when complete.
Infrastructure works on Hidd Al Saadiyat began in October 2012 and villa construction in July of 2013.
SDIC said in a statement that 78 per cent of the infrastructure has been completed, while project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2016.
“With over 70 per cent of the villas already sold, it is clear that the uniqueness of the project and remarkable landscape have created strong market demand,” the company said.
