- Administration of Solaris Operating system on Oracle Servers, HITACHI Storage and Net Back Up.
- Installation, Configuration and Administration of Solaris 10 & above on Oracle Servers – Sparc T5-2, S7-2L or above
- Install and administer Solaris Cluster environment on minimum 2 nodes
- Administer and monitor a minimum of 15 VMs for both application and database on Production, UAT & DR environments
- Monitor the disk usage and performance of the servers
- Installation, configuration and administration of the HITACHI HUS 110, G 200 storage devices
- Create LUNs / Volumes on the storage and allocate to the respective Solaris & Windows Servers
- Install, configure and administer the Veritas Net Back Up for creating and maintain back up jobs for application & databases running on both Windows & Solaris operating systems.
- Upgrade to the latest versions.
- Monitor the Tape Back Ups on daily basis and Restore Back Ups every month to Production copy also Maintain separate Tapes for Daily, weekly and monthly back ups.
- Site-Visits to the Primary Data Center & DR Data Centers for verifying the Production & DR Solaris Servers and HITACHI storage devices
- Coordinate with Data Center team to create required tickets with data centers for access to the IT and Vendor teams
