UAE Ambassador attends meeting of Emirates Businesswomen Council delegation with Kazakh official

ASTANA, 4th July, 2018 (WAM) — Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, has attended the meeting between the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Abdykalikova Gulshara and the delegation of the Emirates Businesswomen Council, EBWC, headed by Farida Al Awadhi, the organisation’s Chairperson.

Gulshara briefed the delegation during the meeting, attended a number of Kazakh businesswomen, about the programme and strategies set by the Kazakh Government to empower women in various fields and gender equality.

She also pointed at the government’s plans aimed at supporting businesswomen in Kazakhstan.

The UAE diplomat highlighted the role played by Emirati women in all avenues through their participation in the renaissance and achieving their aspirations. He also noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between businesswomen and small and medium enterprises in the UAE and Kazakhstan to benefit from the experiences and expertise of the institutions women business leaders in both countries.
