UAE Ambassador attends opening of Arabic books corner at Armenia’s National Children’s Library

YEREVAN, 24th October, 2018 (WAM) — Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Qasemi, the UAE Ambassador to Armenia, has attended the opening of a corner for Arabic books at the Khnko Aper National Children’s Library in the attendance of Nouneh Sarkissian, wife of Armenian President.

The collection of books were donated by the Sharjah-based UAE Board on Books for Young People (UAEBBY).

Named after the famous children’s writer Khnko Aper in 1953, the National Children’s Library was founded in 1933 and is home to a collection of 500,000 books.
