UAE Embassy in South Africa implements charitable projects

PRETORIA, 6th June, 2018 (WAM) — The UAE Embassy in South Africa has distributed 300 food baskets among eligible families in the city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province, as part of the UAE annual humanitarian projects in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Sponsored by a number of Emirati charitable societies, including the Sharjah Charity International, the aid aims to alleviate the suffering of underprivileged families during the fasting month.

Fatima Al Suwaidi, First Secretary at the Embassy, supervised the delivery of aid among the eligible families.
