DUBAI, 8th July, 2018 (WAM) — A joint delegation from the UAE-European Human Rights Working Group praised the development of the General Command of the Dubai Police and the excellence of its police and security work.

The delegation made this statement while visiting the General Command of the Dubai Police to view humanitarian services offered to the community.

During its tour, the delegation, which was accompanied by top Police officers, toured the Directorate-General of Human Rights, the Human Trafficking Crime Monitoring Centre and the Child Protection Oasis.

It also visited the Command and Control Room, with the aim of reviewing its management of operations and human rights services.

The delegation watched a demonstration of a 3D map that covers all areas of the emirate and a security patrol system that can move from one location to another. It also assessed the humanitarian services offered by the centre, which includes services for people of determination, heart patients and the elderly, through the “Your Safety by a Touch of a Button” service.
