UAE relief assistance to Kerala embodies values of friendship, loyalty: Hazza bin Zayed

ABU DHABI, 18th August, 2018 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has commended the directives made by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to form a national emergency committee to provide relief assistance to people affected by flash floods in the Indian state of Kerala.

“The UAE’s noble initiative toward Kerala embodies the country’s commitment to the values of friendship, loyalty and goodness,” Sheikh Hazza said, noting that the humanitarian relief campaign reflects the nation’s determination to stand by its friends and supporting all peoples on earth.

Kerala has been battered by record monsoon rainfall this year and is facing the worst floods in 100 years.
