2,500 workers were quickly evacuated from the National Bank of Kuwait’s new building currently under construction
Dubai: A massive fire broke out at the new headquarters of the new National Bank of Kuwait on Thursday morning.

Teams of Civil Defence, ambulance and police patrols rushed to the scene to evacuate people from the building, and coordinated their efforts to prevent the fire from spreading.

The National Bank of Kuwait took to Twitter to confirm all 2,500 workers were evacuated, and that 90 per cent of the fire was controlled by the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
“More than 2,500 workers were evacuated from the site in record time without any injuries,” said the bank.
Note that there has been a partial fire in the NBK headquarter construction site of which 90% has been successfully extinguished by the Kuwait Fire Department.
