Workshop on foreign terrorist fighters held at Arab League

CAIRO, 12th December 2017 (WAM) – The UAE is taking part in the 3rd Arab workshop on foreign terrorist fighters, which started today at the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

The workshop is being held under the theme: “Exploitation of social media and information technology to recruit foreign terrorist fighters .. risks and challenges”.

Fadhil Jawad, Arab League’s Assistant Secretary General for Legal Affairs, said the workshop will discuss the rise of terrorist organisations and means of countering flow of foreign terrorist fighters to the Arab region.
